yes, I checked up home in my dictionary as well. And here I have to
put some questions for Alb. for instance. Alb. has the "y" als being
almost the same sound as Turkish "ü". I wonder why should a Turkish
"ü" became an "u" in Alb. For instance, there is the word "dyqan"
which has its counterpart in Rum. "dugheanã" and they should be both
loaned from Turkish "dükkan". The turkish "ü" here is -as expected-
rendered as "y" in Alb. and not as "u". Even the turkish "ö" appears
to be rendered as "y" in Alb. if turkish "dösheme" is the word which
got loaned in Alb. as "dyshemé" and in Rum. as "dushumea".
Thus, Turkish "ü" should be rendered as "y" in Alb. and not as "u".
For Rum. the rendering of "ü" in "u" is expected since the diphtong
"iu" is the only appropiate sound to "y" but it feels "unspeakable"
after a dental in that position. So, why Alb. "u" in dushman?
