*h2 is not regarded as voiced. As for *w, *o, etc., voicing assimilation
is usually caused by segments which are _distinctively_ voiced, i.e. (in
most languages) stops and fricatives but not vowels, glides, liquids and
nasals.

An imaginative mind can imagine anything, but what have these fruits of
imagination got to do with reality?

Don't let this idea possess you for the weeks to come :-) It's crazy,
but not crazy enough to yield new insights.
