Sorry, I used a mistranslation. Of course not a park bench above, but
a garden bed.

Sänki > sänky appears in written Finnish well after vuode - bed,
sleeping place < vuota - animal skin, a Baltic loan. Besides that I
looked up the word in 'Suomen sanojen alkuperä'.

If you are looking for pre-PIE Baltic loans in Finnish you may want to
consider Finnish 'saari' - island, a somewhat similar looking word to
saivo.
