I said "no support for AIT." There is no gene flow into the Indian
Subcontinent from Central Asia around 1500 Before Christ. IF the
invasions/migrations had occured as hypothesized this would not be the
case. The incursions into the Indian subcontinent are from West Asia
and at much earlier dates certainly not enough to overrun existing
languages.

Genetics is one form of physical evidence that could support
linguistic theories. But it does not, in this case. As we have
explained in detail in our paper (proto vedic continuity theory.doc),
there is no physical evidence to support IEL theories. IEL methodology
is so fraught with weaknesses and conjectures that it is of no
historical value by itself. Indo European linguists are on a
conitnuous retreat watering down their hypothesis from massive violent
invasions, to massive migrations, to mutiple small waves, to invisible
trickle ins etc.
