It's echt Slavic, all thee way down from PIE *sod-éje/o-, the causative
of the root *sed-. The Germanic cognate of that is *sat-ji/a- (> Eng.
set). Of course Slavic also has a whole family of words derived from
*seh1- 'sow'; these, too, are cognate to similar words in Germanic and
elsewhere, but are mostly inherited, not borrowed! Cf. the Slavic word
for 'seed', *se^meN < *seh1-mn. (Lat. se:men).
