The (il)logical structure of an ad hominem is:
1. A makes claim B
2. There is something objectionable about A
3. Ergo, claim B is false.
Your comment qualifies as an ad hominem. There's a
strict difference in most cultures between joking
about oneself and joking about another. One is the
basis of many a comic's humour, the other abusive.
