Urgh. Some people seem too afected by invasions, migrations or any other
kind of movement. It's not polite, mind you. Maybe the romance languages
sprung from the ground, that's much more likely, without needing the romans
to come to existence, much less they invading Iberia. So rude it would be.
Maybe english, too, went to America throught the air, like some trees'
seeds. At least they allow the tectonic plates to move, otherwise Himalaya
would be a "non-place", whatever it means...

Adducing Merlijn de Smit's comments in 'Uralists Against
History' in support of your case is ... bizarre. Either you
don't understand what he's saying, or you're hoping that we
don't.
