Latin ob is likely from *(h1)op(i) ~ *(h1)epi.

I don't know a Lycian ebi- (I know a ehbi, but it means
"his" < ebehi). Since Lycian vowels are affected by
pervasive regressive Umlaut, non-final vowels offer no clues
as to the original vocalism.
