No, there's also *wes- "to trade". So *wosno- is
the noun: "a trade". Hence your "negotiation" perhaps.
The locative singular would be *wósnoi and the
accusative singular, *wósnom.

Translating the root *wes- as "to buy" is too
capitalist for hunter-gatherers, dontchathink? So I
