Thematic vowel - *to, *so

The deictic particles *so and *to have /o/ instead of /e/, like nice
particles should. Maybe that's because the /o/'s are re-stressed
ablaut vowels? In that case

*és& > *só
*ét& > *tó

or, to start with the beginning, namely pre-PIE

*ása > *és& > *só
*áta > *ét& > *tó

Now if, as some have suggested, 2nd and 3rd sg. endings come from
these two particles, it would be

*V ása > *V-&s& > V-s
*V áta > *V-&t& > V-t

as in the secondary endings


or, if one prefer to keep things separate:

*V ása > *V és& > V-es
*V áta > *V ét& > V-et

as in the thematic endings. Note the appearance of /e/ in 2nd, 3rd
sg endings, out of the blue, as it should.

Also Hittite -as, -at become easier to understand, if from *-ása,
*-áta. Plus Latin is (ea id) ... etc.
