Is this theory plausible or just phantasy?
It is an attempt to link Hungarian Kuvasz's name , a big white shepherd dog, to Sumerian roots.

Another theory tells us about an ancient dog, the Ku Assa, which has been described as a huge white or yellow white pastoral guard dog belonging to the people the of the Sumerian culture. Modern archaeologists who deciphered cuneiform writing on ancient clay tablets from Mesopotamia, believed that the ´Ku Assa´, which lived in this area some thirty-five to forty centuries ago, would be the true ancestor of our modern sheep-guarding mastiffs. This ´Ku Assa´dog, is believed, companied their owner on the great migration west wards, as we today find white or yellow white large guard dogs ; in France, the Pyrenean Mountain Dog; in Italy, the Maremmano-Abruzzese; in Turkey,the Akbash; in Poland, the Owczarek Podhalanski; and in Hungary, the Kuvasz. These breeds are very similar in type and tasks.
