ON <mo,rðr> 'marten' goes with OE <mearþ>, from *marðuz --
OHG <mardar>, <marder>, <mardur> seems to represent an
extended form -- not with <murder>, Gothic <maurþr>, and OE
<morðor>. Did you mean ON <morð> 'murder, death' (OE
<morð>, OSax <morth>, OHG <mord>)?
