Please do not use my poor english or soem formal terminology as a pre-
text to hide your initial remark.

It would be better to talk on the subject with arguments ..not in such
a formal way: mainly I don't see anything concret on the discussed
points.

Patrick:

Marius, please take what I am about to write as a friendly critique rather than a personal attack.
Garbled grammar is a matter we can happily overlook. This is an international list; and if I were forced to write in French, I probably would fall short of the standards of the Academie - by several leagues.

I consider it a courtesy on your part (and for several others who post from time to time) to write in English; so I am willing to pass by any misplaced commas or dangling participles - cheerfully.

But terminology is another matter. If we cannot agree on the proper terms to convey our thoughts, then we cannot communicate. Whatever your native language is, it has the equivalent of 'reconstructed' for the process under discussion. Think in ?, then use a dictionary to translate what you mean, use the right words however ungrammatically you might put them into a sentence.

There is no "formal" terminology! There is only the terminology that we all try to use precisely to communicate something on language worth communicating (we hope). To excuse your lack of using proper terminology by characterizing it as "formal" is unacceptable.

Either you are thinking (in whatever language) in the proper categories for the discussion - or you are not. If you do not know the categories, learn them, and do not waste your time and everyone else's with trying to figure out what you mean. We are only interested in whether what you write has any intellectual and scientific merit.

Patrick
