I have no clue what you mean. Of course there is no long *o: in the IE
reflexes of *sokWo- or *solwo-. If there were, Modern Albanian would
show <gjek>* and <gjellë>* instead of what it does. If you still have
any lingering doubts, consider Albanian gjumë < *supno-, where the <gj>
occurs before a back vowel that is /u/ today and has been *u as far back
as our IE reconstructions go.
