Only to clarify my position here. I don't reject also a possible
derivation:

*dek's-wo > djathë

As I have said: we have a 'simple' *dek's- here with a
termination: -(i)a: or -wo etc...: of course, it is important to know
the termination too.

So what I want to add here is that also *dek's-wo will regularly give
*djathë based on the known Albanian Rules (so there is no need 'to
add' 2 new Rules)

*dek's-wo Derivation:
======================
*dek's-wo > [syllable by syllables; o>a] *dek'-swa > [s/w > zero see
vajzë, vjehërr, vetë] > Early-PAlb. *dec-wa > [e/in closed syll. >
ja; k' > c /ts/ ] > Late-PAlb *djac-wa > djathë

I.a. So I could also accept:
a) s/w > zero
b) k^ > c > th
(to go on in two steps only with the known rules)

I.b in place of :
b) k^s > c > th

Note: The final conclusion if is: I.a or I.b it will depend if I will
find or not the second example :)

In conclusion: what I put in cause here are Piotr's Rules:
==========================================================
a) k^/s > zero
b) sw/e > th
with no other examples in Albanian ....

Best Regards,
Marius
