I think people have missed the point when corresponding with Kelkar. He is analysing PIE linguistics from an Indian Nationalist point of view. Is he a member of the BJP? No doubt he thinks that ancient Indians nipped round to Europe speaking Sanskrit and brought us our language!

The Sanskrit system is the original PIE system; no relation to Semitic
and Turkic.
