The latter example fits Old Slavic c^re^da > Romanian cireadä
"herd." Other two words seem to be related, both phonetically and
semantically: Romanian ciurdä ['c^urd&], of which Romanian
linguistic sources say it is a Hungarian loanword < Hung. csorda
['c^ordO] (< PIE?) "herd; flock"

Perhaps also related Romanian cârd < Serbian krd (for groups of
various animals; in Romanian chiefly for birds, though).

I'm afraid this would be of little help for Romanian, since the s > sh
before stops (such as [k], [t], [p]) is *still* productive -- esp. in
western regions of Romania. But only at the subdialectal & colloquial
level.
