It has been suggested a Thracian *zemelos" due the name of Zalmoxis; I
think Zalmoxis has been noh a chtonic deity at all and the co-relation
with earth is not true. The same for Reza/Ressus which is a _personal
name_ and it doesn't mean "king". If I recal correct, there is the
thracian "king Ressus" in the troyan war and not Reza but I have to
verify too.
