additional problem. I found the cyrillic setting on the scanner and
gave it a try. It was much better, of course, but it couldn't
simultaneously handle the accompanying Latin and Greek elements, as
well as some of the diacritical signs... Have a look at one of the
pages I managed to upload and you'll immediately see what I mean. On
top of that each of the photos ia about 2.1 MB. With 1/2 of the
intended material posted I've already devoured nearly 50% of the space
Yahoo allots to Cybalist photos... Since the stuff will only be there
for a while I suppose that's tolerable. Sometimes the system
disconnects during upload and I have to try again. This must be due to
the large size involved. Well, 6 down and 6 to go... I uploaded the 2
reference pages so that people could check the in-page notes of the
text without having to wait. I hope the whole exercise turns out to be
at least mildly worthwhile...******
