But I think none of the femine -o: anthroponyms have IE satisfatory etymologies. Perhaps Le:to: can be related to *la:- "to cover, to hide" (cf.  *la:tr- > Sansk. Ra:tri: "The Night Goddess".
The other ones are still mysterious.

Yes.

The Hittite word obviously isn't.
Neither is the Sanskrit word.

We can consider these oy-stems to be a special kind of
i-stems.  Gender assignment in the i-stems is also a
seemingly arbitary matter.
