Easy: the original argument was about Shtip and Nish, with Plovdiv
thrown in as an also-ran which I went out of my way *not* to connect
with anything Albanian.
But I'm increasingly sorry I did all the same, also
because "Philippopolis" is so long a name that it looks like a
standing invitation for Zipf's law to move in. And once that happens
we're licked and we know it.
