I guess that also Geg <voth> Tosk <vath> `earring' could be derived
from variant suffixed form *h2ah1us-to > a:sto > voth/vath (*h2aus-
> vesh `ear'), as well as Geg <vojti>, Tosk <vajti> `he has gone'
from PIE root *h1ei- `to go'. These aorist forms are synonymic with
<shkoi> `id.' and <iku> `id.'.
I really wish to know your opinion about these derivations. Do you
find them reasonable.
