*h3(o)kW- is a likely explanation of the "prothetic" o- in Gk. opHru:s
and Slavic *(o)bry. As for the second part, I'd be quite happy with
*bHruh2(?)- 'bridge' if only cognates of Gmc. *bru:/*brugjo: were found
more widely.
