[tied] Derivations 15 sun
From: Sean Whalen
Sun, n.: nom/acc and gen
As I've said, VZZV syllabification seems to be
optional , so: V-xyV or Vx-yV and V-nwV or Vn-wV, etc.
These derivations will now focus on both.
The derived forms must have lexicalized gen. due to
the many changes and separation from nom.
These forms account for:
Goth. sauil, Lat. sol
Then, from word formation:
se-xwe`l 20, 62
sx-wa`l 15, 16
sa-xwl(+syl)-ya's 15, 16
sx-wl-ya's 15, 16
65 mv>w or m (as in 66 and 6)
14 a-tone to zero before Z in syl that will
15 move to its nucleus and
63 [C/#]Z Z+syl [C/#] shifts syllabified Z to more
30 X-coloring (ex>ax, etc)
31 analogy to nom
32 dissim w-w to w-y
33 analogy to nom
35 analogy with gen. or metathesis
