OK, then not *ball-, but *ba:ll-
It is your right to doubt about boll�/balaur this is why I asked for some
sure Latin words loaned in Albanian where the Latin "e:" is reflected as
"o". The example with "be:lua" is too weak alone. I rememebr Piotr said the
same thing once ( Latin "e:" > Alb. "o") but I am not sure if he is now "on
air" for comming with an example or two. Any terms from religion/church for
instance?
