There is no lack! The suffix NEVER existed, Richard!

My idea doesn't predict **-omyo at all. It says that *s will always
be there because it is merely a merged nominative-genitive form
with an attached relative pronoun in the locative.

Since *-syo was meant to mark one and only one case, the genitive,
there can be no **-omyo for immediately logical reasons. Secondly,
the genitive plural didn't require *yo because the first option of
lengthening the thematic vowel sufficed to disambiguate.
