Yup. Actually, for inherited words, the regular evolution before
stress is pl- > ch-, while for unstressed vowel following consonant
nexus one has normally pl- > pr-; for intermediate loanwords from
Latin, one has either the exitus pr- or pl- (like in <plaga>).
