What about "leave your voice after the tone"? I suggest

' = subsidiary accent

(preceded by <Ic gre:te þe:, le:of fre:ond> /ic^ "gre:te Te: "le:&f
"fre:&nd/ and followed by <Wes gesund> /"wes j&"sund/).

<e:&> = a diphthong intermediate betweem those of RP <mare> and <mere>.
