(t.) tërshërë, (g.) tërshânë 'oats' is supposed to be of Latin
origin, trimense triticum, probably suffixed in -ërë/-âna (cf. gërsh-
ërë vs. gërsh-ânë) and can't be related with <tërsirë> 'rope'.
