<<<Actually I got puzzled why the Iberian languages does not seemingly
follow (when they should be) the Latin for thunder "tonare" , "tonitrus".
Portuguese has "trovao" and Spanish "trueno". French and German (and of
course English) does follow Latin.<<<
Portuguese: trovão < XIII torvões < VLat. turbo, -onis (CLat. turbo -inis)
