Even if there had been one, what's so impractical "to say the least"
about having two groups with the same name, especially if they live at a
safe distance from each other? Such things happen, especially if the
units in question are clans with names derived from that of an eponymous
founder. Same with surnames: not all Pedersens are named after one and
the same Peder.
