It isn't _absolutely_ impossible. I was considering a Hungarian filter
as a possible source of false pleophony (/kra-/ --> Hung. /kOrO-/ -->
East Slavic /koro-/. I admit, however, that the evidence produced by you
and by Sergei looks decisive.
