As long as you finally accept that my having the last word is inevitable,
you'll
feel a lot better :) Secondly, it was my greatparents who left Stockholm.
My grandmother was raised in the US. She was taught English at school,
naturally, and Swedish from her parents. She moved to Canada, met my
grampa, had more babies and then gramma forgot, for pratical reasons,
to teach my father Swedish. Why would she? Seems like language
abandonment to me.
