Albanian besë seems to do not appear in Demiraj; for the ancient "s" we
expect in Albanian "sh" like Latin coxa > kofshë. It seems the word
"besë" and its derivatives is something recent because of "s".

Linking togethere the Dacian "carpi", "harpii, "arpii" (one and the same
name) will mean the methatesis of Albanian word "karpë" ( Rom. crãpa)
happened in the very ancient times.
For having an idea about the methatesis and ancient "s" in Albanian,
take please Rom. "ursã" and Albanian "arushë" which means one and the
same thing: she-bear.

The "carps" are not mentionated in Carpathian Mountain. The name
"Karpathos" appears very early in the Greek writtings; the name "carpii"
appears late, being mentionated as a "union of tribes" _after_ the power
of Costoboces is broken by germanic tribes.
