   Russia didn' had nothing to do with Duchy of Suduva until 1795. To the east from Duchy of Suduva was Lithuanian Duchy of Dainava, to the south from Duchy of Suduva was Suduvian Duchy of Jotva. Town Lietuvos Brasta (meaning is Lithuania's ford) belonged to Duchy of Jotva.

   Baltic place names are being founded towards south from Lietuvos Brasta too.
