Before Egijus starts spinning his Thraco-Baltic yarns, let me just add
that <szalma> is a loan from Slavic ans <szarv> reflects an older
(Finno-Ugric) loan from Iranian. Of course similar (and related) words
occur in the Baltic languages, but that's little wonder, since Baltic,
Slavic and Iranian are all (Satem) Indo-European with a lot of common
inheritance.
