We have something similar as in Slavic here.In Rom this verb is i a
reflexive one " a se spuzi"
and the noun is "spuzealã" cf DEX "a se spuzi" is deriving from "spuzã"
which one should be from
a Latin *spodia
Hmm.. Piotr, if you would trace the protoslavic form back to PIE (just
for the Slavic reflexes) what kind
of root whould be there?

Mention: spuzã= hot ashes; number very big of something
