racial composite of the proto-indo-european language society
---------------------------------------------------------------------

To those concerned,
I am new to this forum and I am from China, far away from your
countries. But the Internet will fill the gap. And I hope I can
learn from you all about human history.
Today I would like to start with topic: racial composite of the
proto-indo-european langage community if there is one. I have read a
little about origins of indo-europeans but it seems to me that
everyone is trying to avoid talking about the racial make-up of
these pastoral people. I am wondering whether they were homogeneous
or heterogeneous. Was it a community just like the United States or
the U.K, in which there a large variety of peoples from all over the
world but all speak one common language-English? Or perhaps it was
not like that mixed. Maybe like China, where one will find
considerable physical differences between Northern Chinese and
Southern Chinese, who all call themselves Han Nationality.
Han people and most of the other ethnic minorities physically
resemble each other and they are all classified as the Mongoloid
Race. I guess that it was the same case with the proto-indo-european
people. Some were dark-haired dark-eyed, some were blond-haired and
blue-eyed just like today's europeans.
That is all I can think about by now. I look forward to hearing from
your guys' opinions.
