Ms. Iacomi and George sustained that Rom. "lãbãrTa" is a derivative
of a Hungarian word which entered Romanian with the meaning "foot"
and developed its meaning of "going out of shape" from the
meaning "foot".

We have in Albanian the verb "labërgon" = lockern, lösen, aufknoten.

So far we know there is no Hungarian influence on Albanian, thus the
existence of the verb in Albanian is not to explain due Hungarian.
I doubt too that Rom. "lãbãrTa" is the origin of Alb. "labërgon" but
they derive from the same PIE root.

Opinions?
