It happens Rom. "fântânã" is given as deriving from "fontana" and no
"fontanella". In my Dict. of Regionalisms and Archaisms I could not find
any word like "fântâneaua"; neither does any from the lingusits discusee
a such word ( so far I am informed). By myself I am not aware of the
word "fântâneaua".
Now, what is with "rondunella"? What is this? In which language? Latin
does not know a root like rond-
I don't understand why you are screwing (Himmel-A***-und-Wolkenbruch!
:^) when the question is very simple:
vitella > viTea
vitella > viTeaua

Something does not fit here. Kapiert?
