Wie bitte? Bãrbat (man) is considered to be direct Latin "barbatus" (
ok, with semantical change) but there is a joke to see bãiat (boy) as
any Latin derivatives from something like to bath.

Was you the one who spoked about incest?:-) As you see there is nothing
unusual here . The common element is *sorV > Rom. *surV

I guess I use the variant given by Dan Milton, this is why I gave the
entry number which is 1709. There is used the "y".
