Of course. I was going to quote "Greek deíelos "evening" (Pokorny:
richtiger deielós, metr. Dehnung für *deelós, aus *deuselós?)", and then,
momentarily suppressing all knowledge about Greek /s/, I thought dúsis, a
couple of lines down, would be simpler to explain...
