The ethnic origin of Getae equites is Slavic according to Niederle, Manuel 161; Vernadsky, Russia I 165; Vasillev, Justin the First 308) or Antes (Stein, II 106; cf. page 20), or mixture of Slavs and other people (Stanojevic,I 222-223, and Grafenaaer, Nekaj vpra�anj 30�31).
