This was debated to death on the Cybalist list. I'm all for people flying
kites and floating ideas, but I do have reservations when ideas which get
rightly rubbished on one list are floated again on another. That feels
more like single-mindedness than open discussion.

Bizarre! Do you really need reasons why?

That makes her dally with a man 400 years older than she was. Talk about
going for the older man!

Here we have to say it may be possible - just! But let's try to keep the
ideas within the bounds of what is known scholarship, not just fantasy.
