This is perhaps almost frivolous, but ... Several placenames in
Jutland have a prefix Møgel-, explained as from Jysk 'møgel' "big"
(today 'møj') (cf. Mickle etc). But then I thought: *magul- plus u-
umlaut > *møgel- ...
