"Ideas" as opposed to "fixed ideas"

I think what Piotr means is "**FIXED** ideas" that go so far as to
deny all facts. An immovable and illogical set of ideas that are
maintained and asserted by a member without attempt at
addressing obvious logical problems.

We need to be a little flexible and acknowledge when something
we hold true goes counter to the facts. This requires having
the humility to admit when one is wrong.

People with idee fixes can never accept that they are wrong.
