I was about to bemoan the lack of development of The Indo European
Database (TIED) when I discovered that not only it is it still there
(at
http://indoeuro.bizland.com ) but that it's had some recent work
done on it - the list of roots is now accessible - and that Cyril
Babaev is still alive, or at least was a few months ago - see
http://tied.narod.ru !
