Someone, whose name has been swept away by the mind-boggling
tsunami of recent posts, had said:

I'm now tortured by the pain of deleting hundreds of posts a day
of threads that are either trivial or very narrowly focused. So much
so that I've forgotten whether I'm registered to an Indo-European
forum or a Romanian one.
Perhaps we could all agree at least to cut down the size of our
posts by limiting the length of our quotes of others. I've seen
many posts thus far that quote the entire post of someone else
for no reason other than to be annoying. I'm considering hiring a
linguistic hitman >:( Why send a post that's 12Kb when we can
send a more readable 2Kb message??
What could also help is to send ONE post to respond to everyone
rather than cutesy individualized responses. Otherwise we will be
hit by another tsunami.
