That was interesting to read, indeed. It shows how much and how
quickly one's tone and confidence rises, in a week or so, through the
accumulation of some superficial knowledge on languages one read a
book on. The person in question quickly turns extremely arrogant and
self-imposing on the others, believing he has gotten it right and all
the rest are fools. The most fruitful approach in all debate.

By the way, because the guy had fears from reading Chomsky, I feel
like saying I have not yet read much of Chomsky as a linguist, but I
have been interested in his writings on the media, most naturally.
And I don't know what the guy in question meant in saying his style
should be hard to read and hence the fear. Chomsky has the simplest
style on earth. Simple and clear and usually consistent. No need for
fear or hunger.
