Yes, you did... sorta. However, I guess I think that PIE was even less
monovocalic than you think. I do know that there is an annoying
camp of people that persists with this pre-IE monovocalism. It's
such a tired idea and I get grumpy when I even hear the word
"monovocalism" now. Rrrrrr >:)
